      Have the following system:

      Pfsense 1.2-RC2 with Squid, Lightsquid, bandwidthd, darkstat, snort and ntop running on dual 2 Ghz Intel with 4 Gig of ram and 160 gig hard drive. Normal operation with all running is CPU @ 2%, Memory @ 28%, Swap 0% and disk @ 2%.

      All works and perform well however during lowest usage periods, overnight, NTOP will stop running. System logs show nothing but ntop termination and all other pieces continue to function normally;

      Sep 20 06:49:43 ntop[63170]: ===================================

      Anyone have any advice or ideas why or what to try to stop this?

      Thanks in advance.

        Ntop threading bugs or FreeBSD threading bugs, depending on who you ask. I don't know the true cause, but it's a common ntop issue with no resolution in sight.
