      Hello,

      I still have an issue with CARP IPV6

      I have 2 firewall
      1 LAN
      1 WAN
      1 opt (communication between FW)

      OPT has ipv4 and ipv6 everything is pingable. (FW1 -> FW2 -> FW1).

      But on the CARP
      FW1 is master for everyhting in IPV4 and IPV6
      FW2 is slave on IPV4 but also on IPV6

      I don't think this is normal.
      Is this a bug ?

      Thank you very much

        I have a CARP cluster on the latest 2.1 snapshots and the MASTER/BACKUP status is correct for the IPv6 IPs, so it isn't a general issue. It works on real, live hardware and in VMware.

            Not sure what you mean by "the same" for that.

            I just tested it again in a fresh VM. The IPv6 IP's are x❌x❌:2/64 (primary) and x❌x❌:3/64 (secondary) and the CARP VIP is x❌x❌:1/64. Nothing more to it than that, and it works fine.

                  You may yet want to post the specifics of your fix in case others stumble upon the same issue.

                    I'm ashamed

                    But

                    On FW 1 the ipv4 ip was xxx.xxx.xxx.14
                                the ipv6 ip was xxxxxxx:xxxxxx:xxxxxxx::14

                    On FW 2 the ipv4 ip was xxx.xxx.xxx.13
                                the ipv6 ip was xxxxxxx:xxxxxx:xxxxxxx::14

                    Yes same ipv6 on both firewall

                    I'm going to crawl under a tree
