      hi,
      i am new on pfsense and i have just one purpose.
      My boss wanna see what employees doing on internet.
      For example, what web sites they are using, how much network bandwith they are using.
      Actuall ntop doing this well but ntop not showing old logs. I mean it is not showing yesterday or more previus logs.
      Is there another peckages that can show all historical logs.

        Squid stable + lightsquid should fix you right up.
        Assuming a simple network setup, you could easy just use transparent squid proxy.

          thank you for your help.
          that setup is working like how i want. I can monitor all network except ssl traffic.
          squid logs ssl if i connect as a usual proxy.
          Is there any way to log ssl traffic by transparent proxy?

            No - HTTPS is not handled by the proxy, so it can't get logged that way.

              Marcelloc has a package of Squid 3.3.4 out that can do SSL proxying:

              Not sure how complete it is yet.

                Ohhhh.  Thats nice.  I'll be glad when its standard squid package.  I like it.
