Fresh install of Aquid and Lightsquid
I have installed squid and lightsquid so that I can get internet usage reports and have a couple of issues that are bugging me.
1. If I enable transparent proxy I can get to www.google.com but if i try and click a link I get an error:
The requested URL could not be retrieved
While trying to process the request:
GET / HTTP/1.1
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.2; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/28.0.1500.95 Safari/537.36
The following error was encountered:
Some aspect of the HTTP Request is invalid. Possible problems:
Missing or unknown request method
Missing HTTP Identifier (HTTP/1.0)
Request is too large
Content-Length missing for POST or PUT requests
Illegal character in hostname; underscores are not allowed

if i switch transparent proxy off then the site will come back up. I figure it's a config option somewhere but being pretty new to this fwall I don't know where to look.
2. If I go to Proxy report and then click Lightsquid report i get:
Error : report folder '/var/lightsquid/report' not contain any valid data! Please run lightparser.pl (and check 'report' folder content)
Please check config file !
Access to '/var/lightsquid/report' folder yes
which seems to be a known issue but there does not seem to be any posts describing how to fix (I have reinstalled the package before and after refreshing)
3. Proxy state throws up this error:
Squid RealTime stat 1.20 for the proxy server (unknown) (192.168.1.5:3128).
Auto refresh: sec. Created at: 06:27:26 02/08/2013
Error (1): Cannot get data. Server answered: HTTP/1.0 403 Forbidden
I believe that 2 and 3 are likely to be linked but don't know how to fix?
4. I was also getting the following error in the cache.log:
2013/08/02 05:44:39| commBind: Cannot bind socket FD 13 to *:4827: (48) Address already in use
FATAL: Cannot open HTCP Socket
Squid Cache (Version 2.7.STABLE9): Terminated abnormally.
Though this does not appear to have resurfaced after reinstalling lightsquid.
Any help would be greatly apprreciated.
