      Hi everyone,

I've got an issue with one of my pfsense box.

The box is a fresh install (not an upgrade) of 1.2-RC2 built on Wed Aug 29 05:44:41 EDT 2007

The box is working fine few hours, and then the box crash without any notification. The only notice I have that I don't understand why is the following message in the syslog :

      Sep 26 00:35:00 194.57.204.241 check_reload_status: check_reload_status is starting
      Sep 26 00:50:00 194.57.204.241 check_reload_status: check_reload_status is starting
      Sep 26 02:30:01 194.57.204.241 check_reload_status: check_reload_status is starting
      Sep 26 05:20:00 194.57.204.241 check_reload_status: check_reload_status is starting

The console is not responding anymore (can't choose any item of the menu, or entering terminal)

The only solution is a hard reboot. The box works again perfectly some hours, and then crash the same way….

Don't know if the message above is really linked, but if you have any suggestion to me, it should be great.

Maybe it's an hardware issue, cause others boxes are a bit different and I don't have any issue.

      Thanks in advance !
      Regards,
      Benoit.

That sounds like a hardware issue - most likely a bad memory stick in the machine….

        Just an observation...
