Has anyone tried to fit one of these on their ALIX board (preferably into the PC Engines case http://www.pcengines.ch/case1d2u.htm )?

      Thanks

And the real question is? Does it fit in there? Obviously does. Is it compatible? NFC.

Yeah…does it fit inside? I think it depends on height and mount direction. Could be clashing with the CF Card slot.
NFC? No Fucking Clue? I think it is, looking at the specs it should be fine.
Nice option for full installs on ALIX IMO.

Considering the dimensions (both the SSD height and the enclosure height) are crystal clear from the links you have posted… it this question even serious?

The real question wrt compatibility is whether the Alix can boot from it  :D

There are a few more factors than just height of the enclosure and height of the SSD. For example you have to think about the height of the ALIX inside of the enclosure and possibly add some because there is some air between the board and the bottom of the enclosure.

But more than the height is the mount direction that concerns me. I don't have the ALIX opened up in front of me. If I did, I could probably easily answer if this could be an issue.

I am not worried at all wether the ALIX can boot from it.
