Hi to all, I recently noted, by user feedback that this domain occ.com.mx is no resolving properly.

when ping or open web page it directs to 178.239.48.152 instead of 97.65.90.17  it only happens behind my pfsense, I am using dns forwarder, I flush the cache (restart dnsmasq service) but problem persist.

If I put ISP dns's in manual ip configuration on my laptop resolves to correct IP, therefore the problems lies inside pfsense box.

I am using pfsense as proxy with squid and squidguard.

1 LAN 3 WAN with load balancing, all three ISP dns's resolves correctly,

What could I review to find the problem?

      Thanks in advance.

      Ricardo

Nah, not really. The problem lies in your internal DNS server. DNS forwarder merely forwards the requests.

Well I have not internal DNS server, I use those provided by ISPs I have three different ISP with different DNS Servers, If I manually configure IP in my laptop with each of these ISP and change LAN rules to send all traffic from my laptop through respective ISP gateway the domain resolves correctly.

If I put pfsense as DNS server in manual configuration It resolves wrong.

My question is what could I check in order to verify how dns is working?

          Thanks.
