3 days ago i cant find a way to know from where and why mbufs are used and how to clean it
sometimes on (2.0.3) ups to 900 mbufs after reboot 646..
ive make a LLF(low level format) to disk and sygate tools for hdd.. but nothing + many tryis for restore default and different versions
installation of the pfsense is at virtualbox with external hdd were later is moved to symantec 1600, control is from comconsole
on next reboot i will capture the log -
You made a low-level format of HDD? Amazing, that's been impossible for some 15 years or so, at least. Considering mbufs are kernel memory buffers used for packets that hit your box via network, I am also extremely surprised that formatting your drive has not helped.
No offense, but please stop messing with things that are NOT broken at all.
-
with unplugged cable (NETWORK OFF) mbufs is again on the same value.
i dont know about the LLF if its its working but 40G waiting was big 3h+, .. found some cracked program for that

Sorry, I don't understand what the issue is. Apparently you think there is something wrong with the numbers in

[/code] and I'm happy with those numbers.Your posting of SMART data and your reformatting of the hard drive suggests to me you might think mbufs are related to hard drives somehow. Is that so?
