    Hello,

forst of all, sorry for my english, i'm from germany.

    I use pfSense 2.1-RC.

i want to use on one interface static entries. In DHCP Server I found static ARP entries and it works fine. So I'm searching for such an option in ipv6? Is it possible to set ONLY static pairs for mac and ipv6 addr?

Unter DHCP6 -> static mapping i could define ipv6 addr. But there is no mac field only a DUID Identifier. What is it? How can I enter the mac addr for ex. 00:11:22:33:44:55 there?

    Greetings

    BJ

You don't. You need DUID for IPv6 DHCP.

Okay and how can I set static mappings only (like ARP static entires under DHCP Server)? So only known clients (mac and ipv4 pair) are allowed to communicate with pfsense? Or is this not possible with ipv6 only with ipv4?

Cannot see this supported anywhere on pfSense.
