I've done weeks of search and have yet to find a thread which matches my issue.  I've setup a single IPSec VPN for testing to another office which is running IPCop 2.0.6 (latest v) and am able to get the tunnel up but after "random" time, the tunnel goes down and this error is returned on IPSec log on the pfSense unit…

racoon: [Unknown Gateway/Dynamic]: DEBUG: 1 times of 92 bytes message will be sent to x.x.x.x [500]

racoon: [Unknown Gateway/Dynamic]: DEBUG: send packet from x.x.x.x [500]
    Aug 30 17:48:22
    racoon: [Unknown Gateway/Dynamic]: DEBUG: sockname x.x.x.x [500]
    Aug 30 17:48:22
    racoon: [Unknown Gateway/Dynamic]: DEBUG: 92 bytes from x.x.x.x [500] to x.x.x.x [500]

This issue is then temporary resolved once IPSec is "disabled", then "enabled".
