      Hi All

Thought it might be useful to post on my experience WRT the upgrade. I was running 2.0 with squid, lightsquid and bandwidthd installed. Internal interface on a intel pro 10/100/100, external running a usb 3g modem. No issues to speak of.

I performed the automated upgrade, which went without a hitch. However the following issues have arisen since then:

      1. When making any changes to the firewall, the internal interface randomly stops responding. The firewall remains up but there is no traffic on the card and there are no error logs.
      2. Installation of an Mikrotik R52 wifi radio on an RB11 board results in a driver error during bootup and the machine hanging.

A clean install results in the same as the above.

I rolled backed to 2.0, and all issues have disappeared. In fact the newly installed wifi works a charm in hostap mode.

As nice as some of the newer gui features were, I prefer not having to reboot the firewall everytime I make a change on it.

      Anyone else experience the above?

      Adios.
