      Hi,

Can anybody guide me on how to successfully install fresh copy of pfSense with my backed up config?

I followed the instruction (two different can be found in the knowledge base) on how to do it and it does not pickup config file (I preped USB i dos / fat /1bit mode and copied config.xml to both root and conf folder also renamed config.xml to pfi.conf and copied it to same locations).

Should I pickup quick install in menu or how do you do it guys?

      Thanks,

The config should be in <drive>:\conf\config.xml

Make sure you let the system boot all the way to the menu and use 99 to install, don't press I at the first prompt.</drive>
