      Hi Everyone,

I just want to share my virtio-enabled PFSense KVM image. It's using the virtio drivers for the boot disk and can use vtnet for networking.

      Here is the link:
      http://ftp.pregi.net/pub/vm-images/PFSense.gz

      Comments and suggestions are welcome.

      Thanks,
      Bert

I am new to KVM and PFSense.  How do I install this in KVM?  If I extract it, the file has a .raw extension, not an .img extension which is used under KVM.

          Hi,

File extensions don't matter in Linux. Just use this as your KVM hard disk image and you're good to go. Let me know how this works for you. Just make sure to set the proper devices when configuring your virtual disks and network interfaces i.e. virtio.

          Thanks,
