I usually experience pfsense crashing when one of my ISP goes down, I'm using pfsense package 2.0.3-RELEASE (amd64).  With squid, squidguard, ntop, multi-wan & single lan configuration, IPSEC site-to-site VPN, PPTP VPN.  My other pfsense box is up and running but with just single WAN and it goes very well without any crash.  It seems like whenever I use multiple WAN crash happens.
