I am experiencing this rather odd situation with my Pfsense box. Everything seem to be working fine. I have internet connection from both WAN connection. Client PCs are given IP addresses and also are able to connect to the internet, BUT i cannot ping my PFsense BOX and also I cannot ping a google Public DNS. Both are "Request Timed Out". Im using pfsense version 2.1. Any suggestions where I can start troubleshooting this problem?

        Hi!

Post rules of LAN and WAN interface here.
        Then we can start :)

        Regards,
        M

Thanks for your reply. Attached are the screen caps of my firewall rules both for WAN and LAN.

In your ADMINLAN you have no rule that allows ICMP outgoing…
You have just TCP/UDP but no ICMP...

            ICMP is NOT TCP...
Check attached image, it should make more sense...
