1.2-BETA-1 WRAP upgrade to 1.2 RC3 fails

I currently have 1.2-BETA-1-TESTING-SNAPSHOT-06-06-2007 on a wrap board but when I tried doing an upgrade using the WebGUI to 1.2 RC3 - nothing happened.
Was the upgrade process included on the version I'm trying to upgrade from? Is it in 1.2 RC3?

The upgrade for embedded version is broken afer 1.0.1 afaik. (–> all following versions)

It was broken around 1.2 RC1-RC2. Should be fixed now, there are new embedded update files which seem to work fine for everyone. try it out.
