-
Hello,
I whould like to make a sheduled reboot once a day using cron. Can please someone explain me how to set up the rule for this and also which command is for reboot at pfsense. Thanks a lot

So many people ask to be able to reboot every 24 hours, I think it should be made into a option in the web gui. It would also be nice if you could check a box to reboot the unit if a monitor IP lost its connection.

Never mind figured it out.
I used the reboot command for Freebsd and it works fine:27 9 * * * root /sbin/shutdown -r now
Thanks anyway.

Use /etc/rc.reboot
shutdown -r now will miss our pfSense-specific shutdown procedures.

Thanks for the info.Appreciate it.Keep up the good work.

@jimp Is there a command that does use pfSense's specific shutdown procedure?
-
/etc/rc.reboot
like he said.Locking this ancient thread.
