I'm trying to enable a dynamic DNS service called ZoneEdit… (it's actually a DNS management service but it supports dynamic DNS and I believe pfSense also supports ZoneEdit).

The pfSense Dynamic DNS page says: "You must configure a DNS server in System: General setup or allow the DNS server list to be overridden by DHCP/PPP on WAN for dynamic DNS updates to work."

In the General Setup, I have the following option ENABLED:  "Allow DNS server list to be overridden by DHCP/PPP on WAN"

Why is the Dynamic DNS options still disabled?  I don't understand.

Also, how do I allow remote access to my pfSense Web GUI?

    Thanks!

Dynamic DNS has nothing to do with the DNS options you are talking about.
      Services –> Dynamic DNS

to access the webgui from the outside you need to create rule on the WAN interface that allows traffic from the WAN

(there is this link named "search" in the top-bar)

We do what we must, because we can.
