    Hi ,
i just installed squid3 on my alix board running pfsense 2.1. the package seems to install correctly but there is no entry "proxy server" in the services menu.

i rebooted pfsense. uninstall worked ok. then reinstalled but that didn't help.

anyone have an idea what went wrong.

    thanks,
    Michael

squid3 installs two menus, proxy server and reverse proxy. I have no idea why it's not working on your install.

Can you access it directly? the installation ends without errors?
