I got a hold of a second wireless router, so I figured I could set up a second lan as guest wifi for friends and family. I thought I could set it up just like my current wireless router, set up the SSID and turn off the router's DHCP server then tie it to the network. But, it isn't working, I can get an IP address but I can't get to the internet on it.

      Details:
      WAN is on fxp0.
LAN is on fxp1, connected to a switch that has the wired network 192.168.0.1/24, the rest defaults. Switch is also connected to wifi router with DHCP turned off so anything that connects to it gets the IP address from pfSense. Everything works, has been for a few years now.
OPT is on fxp2, connected to wifi router with DHCP server off. DHCP server on OPT is 192.168.100.1/24, the rest defaults. I have the firewall rule set as all open (asterisks across the row, for testing, I'll put more rules in later).

Right now I can get an IP address on the 192.168.100.x subnet but that's it. No www, email, ping, jabber, or anything. Any help would be appreciated.

It should work like you describe.
On OPT1 does the client get the right netmask?
        The right default gateway?
        The right DNS?
From a client, can you ping the pfSense OPT1 IP?
traceroute 8.8.8.8 - where does the problem come?
If you plug a PC directly into the OPT1 port with a cable, does it all work?

As the Greek philosopher Isosceles used to say, "There are 3 sides to every triangle."
