      Hi

I'm having some issues with some file downloads.  First all I'll give you my setup.
      Version 2.1-RELEASE (amd64)
built on Wed Sep 11 18:17:48 EDT 2013
      FreeBSD 8.3-RELEASE-p11

You are on the latest version.
      Platform pfSense
      CPU Type Pentium(R) Dual-Core CPU E5400 @ 2.70GHz
      2 CPUs: 1 package(s) x 2 core(s)
      4 GB RAM

I have Dansguardian installed along with Squid to act as a filter for our internet.

When downloading .zip files it goes fine…it downloads at a normal speed and I can open the zip right away.
However when downloading an .xls or .pdf, it hangs.  Even if the excel file is only 180 kb, it hangs for sometimes 60 seconds...and then it finally downloads it.
I'm wondering if the content/virus scanner in Dansguardian has something to do with this.
I've added an exception to the ACLs -> Antivirus to not scan .xls or .pdfs.

Not sure what else to check.

      Thanks!

        Try with disabled dansguardian/proxy.

When I disable the rules in the firewall for Dansguardian those files download no problem.
