      Hello everyone,

I know some topics already exist for my problem, but after some long hours I still don't understand how to do it.

      Here's the situation:

I want to install a wireless router using pfsense. So I connected the LAN port of the router on one of the switch in my company (LAN network). Now i want my wifi to have the same subnet that my lan network. and i don't care about the wan interface. I know I need to make a bridge, but I don't understand how it works.

Thanks a lot for your help,

      Quen

I dont think you need to have a bridge.

If you have a pfsense box setup and routing traffic on your lan already, then you can plugin your "wireless router" to the switch, turn off dhcp, give it an ip and go.

Otherwise, get wireless card, add it to you pfsense box. add the interface.
