    Hi to all
I am beginner in pfsense and need help for starting
Please help me to be professional in pfsense.

the default url path for update and install packages in pfsense is ' ftp://ftp-archive.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD-Archive/ports/i386/packages-8.1-release/Latest/"
    Right?
How can i change this to a local place?

The URL you referenced is for FreeBSD packages which are different to the pfSense add-on packages. Additionally that URL is for FreeBSD 8.1 which was the base OS for pfSense 2.0.X, pfSense 2.1 is built on FreeBSD 8.3.
You shouldn't ever need to change the package update URL in pfSense unless you're developing your own package.
