      Hi there,

We have 2 gateway due to 2 different blocks which were interconnected recently, both gateways have DHCP installed and assign IP addressed to different devices under 2 different offices.

We recently have upgraded 2 of our Pfsense from 1.2.2 32bit to 2.1 64 bit, all the while the DHCP works on all the laptops, phones and tablet until we upgraded the Pfsense. One pfsense is with IP address 192.168.1.6, one is 192.168.5.1. When the user move from one location to another, they keep on getting the DNS from 192.168.5.1 instead of 192.168.1.6 and we have Deny unknown clients ticked.

I am not sure why this happened, now I have to enter all the mobile devices on both Pfsense then only all my users can be connected anywhere.

Could you post the contents of both /var/dhcpd/etc/dhcpd.conf?

Im confused on this network setup..  So 192.168.5  and 192.168.1 are the same broadcast domain?  What mask are you using?  In a normal setup these 2 segments would be different, and should not be possible broadcast to the other network for dhcp.

          How are your networks connected?
