      Hi
I received a NP N40L as a gift. I already have one so I decided to use it as a pfSense server firewall.

I am wondering for the hardware requirements if it is suitable.
I will have to buy an extra network card.

I am also having a second DSL connection installed in a few weeks, so I will be using load balancing and that.
I am wondering whether I should buy a single, dual or even quad network card for my MicroServer.

Below is a list of network cards I found supported by the N40L but do they support pfSense.

INTEL 9301CT Gigabit CT Desktop Adapter
Intel 82571EB Gigabit Ethernet Controller (rev 06)
Intel® PRO/1000 PT Quad Port Low Profile Server Adapter
HP NC112T PCIe Gigabit Server Adapter 503746-B21

Is the standard network card supported by pfSense?
Has anyone done this before with a N40L?

Any advice or suggestions are welcome and will be greatly appreciated.
      Thanks
