Zabbix maintaners: Any plan for to 2.2?

I'm not sure if anyone in particular is in charge of maintaining the Zabbix packages but Zabbix 2.2 added network interface low level discovery (net.if.discovery) to the FreeBSD agent which may be very useful for pfSense users.

The maintainer already submitted a patch for upgrade.

I have a pfSense template for zabbix might actually have the one you linked to.  But I need zabbix-proxy updated to 2.2 before I can move my main install.  Each site uses zabbix2-proxy to save bandwidth and load.  So I can't update my install until zabbix-proxy is updated.

Sorry, there is a problem yet.

/libexec/ld-elf.so.1: Shared object "libcurl.so.7" not found, required by "zabbix_proxy"

On my env I get a small number of dependencies.

I can't reproduce that in a VM. It installs fine and does not complain. Output from ldd shows that the expected libraries are all present. Something else you have installed must be conflicting.

Seriously consider moving to 2.1, otherwise you're in for a bunch of manual shell package cleanup if you hope to fix that. The package itself appears to be fine.
