Huh? (Duh…)

G'evening ;D
After having freshly ugraded to 2.1/X64, I notice something which fails my too little brain:
1. I have a wireless access point (UAP-PRO, recommended to me by the very fine people on this board ;D);
2. I utilize fixed IP's for all machines on my LAN; The UAP-PRO is wired to the switch and thus to the Pfsense;
3. I have flagged 'deny unknown clients' in Pfsense;
4. The UAP-PRO access point had not been configured as a static IP;
5. Wife (wife :-[ –- ;D No, I love her, she's been with me for 27 years now and still stays with me, so I love her :P) says 'Amma gonna do some wireless gaming now in my bed'.
6. So I say 'wait, I will have to config that first, you can't get past Pfsense'.
7. 'Duh', she says, 'yes I can, I've done it this afternoon also'.
8. 'Yes she can'; she shows me at the spot.
9. I check PFsense: the WAP is not configured as a static IP (based on MAC), and also doesn't show up in the DHCP-server leases page (and, again, I've told PFsense to deny all unknown clients).
10. I scan the network with Softperfect network scanner: the WAP isn't visible.
11. I check her laptop: she is connected to the wireless network name that I configured in the past (in the UAP-PRO settings) (stupid name, NASA455). So obviously my own wireless network.I am clueless as to why she can connect to the internet; with my small brain I would have said she would never have gotten access to PFsense, especially since I don't even see it in the DHCP status page, and I've flagged 'deny unknown clients'.
Would this be a bug, or am I too stupid for this, or?
Thank you in advance for your reply,
Thank you,
Bye,
[b]EDIT: I forgot: The laptop was configured a long long time ago as such: if it is wired it is 192.168.1.13, if it is wireless it is 192.168.1.14. In the Softperfect network scanner I see it as 192.168.1.14, but in the DHCP-server in Pfsense (GUI) that configuration doesn't show (there is no 192.168.1.14), nor does it show as an active (static) lease. Neither does the UAP-PRO, which was 192.168.1.3. Not to be seen neither in Softperfect network scanner nor in Pfsense.

does your access point act as a dhcp sever? if so it may deliver ip and you can not see it in pfsense. you must disable dhcp sever in access point.
if you give static ip to a network device there is nothing wrong when you can not see it in dhcp leases, dhcp sever shows only the ip's that it is delivering -

Thanks for your reply; appreciated ;D
No, it doesn't, I checked. More over, even if it would, it would be strange that it, by accident, would give it the next in line number (x.x.2.14) which happens to be the 'old' fixed ip-nummer that it had before (?)

This I didn't understand. If I tell Pfsense to give out a static IP I would see it in the DHCP/status, no?
