      Dear all,

Squid-dev is now working ok, and https filtering is fine, but we desperately require antivirus solution for pfsense. Please help and suggest the solution.

      Thanks

Dansguardian clamd is perfect. It stops reaching the virus infected file to the user at the firewall itself. Scans every page before the user sees it.

I love it. Has given me many peaceful nights of sleep.. with kids browsing and downloading all the time, clamd has worked perfectly. I do not let my family browse the internet without Dansguardian (with clamd) on my UTM.

Interesting, how do you deal with https virus scanning? Is it likely that there will be no virus' on a https site? Or am I missing something?

See dansguardian is ok with clamd, but https sites are not filtered in dans and only available in squid-dev. I do like to have antivirus solution with squid-dev.

                Not entirely true.

A simple NAT port forward to forward is all it takes to get all HTTP and HTTPS requests from Squid to Dans.
