Keeping squidGuard after Updates/Reboot Sync
-
I'm running 1.2-RC3 latest snapshot with squid and lightsquid installed.
I also have/had squidGuard installed and configured, but not running at the moment due to upgrading to the latest update.
Wanted to ask the ones that have SquidGuard installed too as to how to keep it during a reboot when the packages are synced/re-synced or an update is run.
Is there a file of files that need to be manually edited and backed up for future use.
I thought it was in one of the squidGuard threads, but can't find it.The squidGuard package is awsome otherwise, even with it being a test package.
Thanks to dvserg and the rest. -
Modify manually squidguard.xml file as this:
<name>squidguardgeneral</name> <version>1.2.0_1</version> <title>Proxy Content filter SquidGuard: General settings</title> <include_file>squidguard.inc</include_file>
TO:
<include_file>/usr/local/pkg/squidguard.inc</include_file>
I change this only in monday ::)

If I re-install, will I pick up all the changes you made that I saw in the cvstrac?
