      Hi,

I just fresh installed new 2.1 pfsbox. I downloaded the lusca-cache package. But when I am about to configure it from Services > Proxy Server, I got this error message:

"Warning: dir(/usr/pbi/squid-amd64/etc/squid/errors/): failed to open dir: No such file or directory in /etc/inc/pfsense-utils.inc on line 417 Fatal error: Call to a member function read() on a non-object in /etc/inc/pfsense-utils.inc on line 418"

      What should I do?

Don't use that lusca package, it changes your package repo to some unknown person's server for all your packages, which will break tons of things because it's not kept up to date, and it pulls files from who knows who.

            Hello,

I have exact same problem - fresh installation of pfSense, installed only Squid, can't get to Proxy Server menu with the error like in the first post.

Yeah, it is solved. As said, do NOT use the broken package. Or get help from whoever has produced it.
