Can I do URL re-writing in pfSense? I ask because I'd like to enforce Safe Search on Google searches (especially image search) for the computers on my lan. I could do this with a URL rewrite rule to append append "&safe=strict" to google search requests. Is there a way to do this in pfSense?
      Thanks,
      Ari

use a proxy like squid / if you add squidguard, then it's a builtin feature (it's in the packages)

Thanks, Squid might be the way to go. Is there another way? I ask because I did try installing Squid today, per the instructions here, but then the internet didn't work from the LAN until I uninstalled it…
Either I have to figure out how to fix Squid or find another way to do URL rewrites...
