Is there a how-to guide for setting up Squid as a transparent proxy? I followed the guide here but then the internet was unavailable from the LAN until I uninstalled Squid…
I've read elsewhere on this forum that one has to configure the pfSense box as a router, not as a bridge, for squid to work transparently. But pfSense is providing the DHCP to my LAN, so I'd think this would work? Am I missing something?
Cable modem – pfSense box -- unmanaged switch -- Linksys e2000 running Tomato with DHCP disabled (for wifi and switch) -- client computers
Is there another how-to guide that might work better for this?
      Thanks,
      Ari
