I used to run my Pfsense box on a fairly old server. Due to some problems with adding a third network card, I had to temporarily move to a 64 bit system while I waited for my order to arrive. Now that it has come, I want to migrate back. When I migrated to 64 bit, I made a backup of the 32 bit server, installed pfsense on the 64 bit server, and restored it to the file I had created on the 32 bit server. I've changed some settings since then. Is it safe to make a backup of the 64 bit server, restore it to the 32 bit server, and delete the RDD graphs?

The config backup is compatible. If you're going from 2.1 to 2.1 a config backup which includes RRD files should migrate OK since the RRD contents in the config.xml backup are stored in an architecture-independent format.

Worst case though, delete the RRD files if they don't work and you'll be back to normal.
