      My PfSense system doesn't seem to be performing squid logrotation.  I noticed today when websites became very slow because /var got full.  If anyone has any idea why I would greatly appreciate the help, thanks.

      INFO
      OS - PfSense 2.1 amd64

      • Use RAM Disks

      • /var RAM Disk Size = 256MB

      Package - Squid3 v3.1.20 pkg v2.0.6

      • Enabled logging

      • Log store directory = /var/squid/logs

      • Log rotate = 5days

      Uptime = 20days (Since December 20, 2013)
      First log entry = 1387517557.839 (December 20, 2013)

      EDIT
      The following line is in my cron config. It seems to work as expected when run from the command line.

      /bin/rm /var/squid/cache/swap.state; /usr/pbi/squid-amd64/sbin/squid -k rotate -f /usr/pbi/squid-amd64/etc/squid/squid.conf

        I have the same issue.

        My squid access.log log file size is growing up.  It never rotate since the first day I start running squid.

        Looking for the solution too.

        Thanks.
