      Hi,

I have two PPPoE WAN connections, is it possible to watch if one down and send a mail by a cron job?
At the moment i use the mail report package, but I see it late if a PPPoE goes down because the mail is send only once a day.

Do you have Nagios by chance?  If so, you could install the NRPE agent and have it check and alert for that condition.
