Is there anyway that I can get pfSense to accept an IPsec tunnel from 2 different IP addresses?

I have the scenario where I have a pfSense with single IP on one end and a firewall with multiple WANs (there are 2 with static IP addresses) on the other. For some reason the remote firewall will sometimes try and establish the VPN over the other WAN connection.

Also is it possible for the pfSense end to try and establish the tunnel to the first IP WAN address and if that fails to try and establish on the second IP address?

      Many thanks in advance.

      Peter

That is not currently possible if you go by IP address.

If you can track it with dyndns, and the DNS record changes when the far side IP changes, that would work.

It's not possible to put two peer IPs on the tunnel though so outbound failover wouldn't work that way either.
