    The download "img" file is useless?? wtf?! iso is better!! img=error???

      click live cd with memstick

      select VGA.

      downloaded img is now worthless.???

      I have 18 programs to put a iso on a usb but none to convert or touch a img file!!??

      a couple random bullshit-ware apps tell me the img file is rubbish and cannot convert to iso.

        You Dont need to convert to ISO, you just write it to your "Pen drive" using something like physdiskwrite

          im no good with all that keyboard stuff.
          I don't understand how to use all those switches and random letters in a cmd.
          that gui isn't in very helpful I don't speak german.

          thanks though.

          I just downloaded the iso for cd and put it on my usb the way I know how…. and Linux people say windowz users are backwards.. what a mess!

            As PTT said it's not a ISO. Though now I look at it the new website does list it as 'Live CD with Installer (on USB memstick)' which is potentially confusing.
            Another useful utility for writing raw images is Win32 Disk Imager:
