If you assign an interface to the VPN then you can use the VPN gateway in policy-routing rules. So you can put a rule on LAN to pass a particular source IP and send it to the VPN gateway.

Interfaces->Assign "+" button and select the OpenVPN from the dropdown.
Then it appears as an Interface in the Interface dropdown menu. Enable it, but leave the "Configuration Type" as "none" - OpenVPN will sort out the IP address and gateway underneath.
Now you can make a rule on LAN, source "My special IP address", destination any, and in the Advanced, Gateway section pick the OpenVPN gateway that should now appear in the drop down.

                  Now
Thingies connected to a certain wifi are going through an open vpn without doing anything on the device

                  Thanks again
