Need help with conf. Squid - problems with the WWW.
-
Hello there! I installed squid3 a couple of days ago, and I'm amazed how easy it was to install and config.
Now to my problems: The first problem I stumbled upon was at canyouseeme.org - this site returns my local IP, not the WAN IP, and I guess this has to do with problem #2 ->
I recently bought an streaming service (C More-play in this example), and same problem comes here. I cannot watch a single movie, because C more play thinks I'm 192.168.0.2, not the external IP.
Is there a way to edit Squid to not act as an Proxy on certain sites?
I've read through the manual etc. But my english isn't that good, and I can't find the right Q/A.
Thanks.

There are bypass configuration boxes for both the inbound and outbound. Check the general tab on the Squid config. I have to do this from my internal Dish Network boxes. I set them to static IPs.

I've been fooling around a bit, disabling this - enabling that..and I read this thread: https://forum.pfsense.org/index.php?topic=70281.0
At the moment, www.canyouseeme.org returns my IP as "unknown", while www.whatismyip.com / checkip.dyndns.org gives my static ip.
If I disable "Disable X-Forward", all those sites gives me the local IP, which is 192.168.0.2..I installed squid (3) according to this guide: https://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/Setup_Squid_as_a_Transparent_Proxy
Why won't it show my static ip on all sites?

Squid v3.3 uses different syntax, try:
(don't use the option in the squid menu, leave blank there)
Also try the "disable via" option.Custom options
forwarded_for transparent
You can check your proxy and or IP detection with this site.
