I am trying to block adult content in my home, I have installed PFSense and added Squidguard and Dansgardian, they do a good job in blocking most of the sites i want.

One of the issues i am having is with search engine results as they are encrypted. How do i stop my network using ssl search results?  I have installed TinyDNS but as there is no instructions on how to use it i am total lost.

Please help me someone.

Create DNS overrides as shown in the attached screen shot so that users will not be able to go to the encrypted google search engine. If you want to block specific SSL search sites (such as duckduckgo.com) I do that by using openDNS as my DNS provider…
