I'm assuming this is an issue with Squid, but not completely sure.

While streaming YouTube on my smartphone it will only download half of the video and then start buffering. When it goes to buffer it won't download anymore of the video unless I manually select a later part of it.

The reason I'm not sure if it really is Squid or not is because I added the IP to my phone in to the bypass. I also have HAVP installed. I have youtube.com added to the Squid "Do not cache" and the same entered in HAVP. I do not have HAVP set to scan video streams.

Setup is Squid -> HAVP. The same thing occurred when I have HAVP first.

I had similar problems but was using HAVP as a parent for Squid3…  could never really get streaming right.  I ultimately just disabled HAVP and everything works great.  I'm sure there is some way to get HAVP and Squid3 to coexist happily but I either didn't read enough or didn't read the right things to find the answer.

          Thanks for the reply!

I would do that, but I really don't want to remove HAVP and have a virus become cached on my box.

So, I disabled HAVP and everything works perfectly. I had to reboot the pfSense system after I did because I was getting bandwidth errors. Is there a way that I can just install a virus scanner on the box? I'm using Squid 2.7.9 pkg v.4.3.3
