If you guys know, there are no standard v6 to v6 NAT implementations (NAT66). The logic would be that in a v6 world, there are enough addresses. Well, don't you still need NAT for VM deployments and testing.

And if not, can you have multiple VMs bridged to the same NIC and using different addresses (either in a v6 world or v4)?

Because in my understanding the reason we have the NAT option in VMs is NOT from the lack of addresses (we can have as many rfc1918 addresses as we want) and IPv6 wouldn't seem to obviate this narrow use case of NAT- the use in VMs.

Seems you can already NAT IPv6 with pfSense. I have just verified that, created an Alias with my LAN v6 net and another one with my local HE.net tunnel endpoint. After that I created an Outbound NAT rule on my tunnel interface. Verified with tcpdump that the v6 source address is now always my tunnel endpoint and not my IPv6 LAN.

You can bridge as many as you want to be honest..  Why do you think you need nat in VM setup?
