I'm attempting to configure NUT to shutdown PfSense with our APC Smart UPS.  It's a rack mount unit with an SNMP mgmt card and should work as described on the NUT site.  I don't know where I'm going wrong.  I have the login/pw and IP correct, where do I set which driver to use?  I have chosen remote UPS on the GUI page, but the service will not start.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

FYI - this is the model we have

The description in this package may be a little misleading. Remote doesn't mean SNMP enabled devices, it means a remote NUT server. If you had another box setup with NUT, running as a master, you could then setup the pfsense as a slave.

While it is possible to connect to a snmp apc, the support needs to be hacked in. I may try and contact the package maintainer to see if we can add the required files to support snmp.
