can i configure pfsense to get the speed up to 108Mbps, obv it will be LAN speed and not WAN speed

      thanks

Yes, you can. The wireless speed will never get anywhere near around 108Mbps no matter what you configure (not because of pfSense but because all this turbo-hyper-ultra-giga speed is a piece of marketing BS with no standardization/compatibility and not working in real life.)

Great thanks for that, lets say if the turbo g did go up to 108MBps and it was going out to the WAN would it throttle it to 100Mbps as that's the speed of the WAN NIC?

            No, more likely around 40Mbps.
If you're on 2.4GHz then less.
