      hi every body.

i am using pfsense 2.1 with squid 2.7.9 pkg v.4.3.3.
i have this setup on 3 machines.
two of them are giving me these logs
Apr 2 20:13:48 php: rc.filter_configure_sync: SQUID is installed but not started. Not installing "filter" rules.
Apr 2 20:13:48 php: rc.filter_configure_sync: SQUID is installed but not started. Not installing "pfearly" rules.
Apr 2 20:13:48 php: rc.filter_configure_sync: SQUID is installed but not started. Not installing "nat" rules.

i did search the forum and found it an old problem and solved in 2.1
i know i have one system working with no problem at all.
but i am still getting this on the other 2 systems.!

can i use cron to solve this, i know when i reload filter the rules are installed and traffic being forwarded to squid.
can i use cron to reload filter after each reboot or so.
or there is another workout for this.
i know i am being strange. but the systems are the same.
      pfsense 2.1
      squid 2.7.9
      running captive portal

      regards.
      Muhammed

Check for config errors with squid -k parse on console.

          Solution:
          Services > Squid Proxy Server
          SSL/MITM Mode: Splice All.

          Splice All:
This configuration is suitable if you want to use the SquidGuard package for web filtering.
All destinations will be spliced. SquidGuard can do its job of denying or allowing destinations according its rules, as it does with HTTP.
You do not need to install the CA certificate configured below on clients.
Content filtering (such as Antivirus) will not be available for SSL sites.
