Can not remove or re-install package OpenVPN Client Export Utility
-
I have a successful install of pfsense 2.1. I setup OpenVPN site to site with no issues. I installed the "OpenVPN Client Export Utility" with no issues. But the "Client Export" tab never showed up under "OpenVPN". So I tried to re-install. But the package wouldn't un-install. I tried to just remove it. This is the output I get, it never gets past the last line:
Removing package... Starting package deletion for p7zip-9.20.1-amd64...done. Starting package deletion for zip-3.0-amd64...done. Removing OpenVPN Client Export Utility components... Tabs items... done. Loading package instructions... Deinstall commands...
As a test I've went and installed other packages and removed them with no issues. It's just the "OpenVPN Client Export Utility" which has issues.
pfsense: 2.1p1-RELEASE (amd64)
hardware: Netgate FW-7541Thanks for any help or suggestions

Scroll down to the bottom of the page – is there a PHP error shown there somewhere?

No. I've attached a screenshot of what I see. But basically it's the text I pasted in my previous post then it just sits there. I've left it on that page for as long as 10min but it seems like the page is done with whatever it's doing. It just never un-installs.
If I click the re-install option I get the following:
Removing OpenVPN Client Export Utility components... Tabs items... done. Loading package instructions... Deinstall commands...
And that's it. Never goes beyond that.

If its .inc file is still in /usr/local/pkg/ then try to remove it. Otherwise you might want to backup your config.xml, edit out the <package>…</package> tag for OpenVPN Client Export and then install it again.

You rock! That did it.
I deleted the openvpn-client-export.inc file. It still showed up in the package manager. But I was able to delete it normally after that point.
I was then able to install it and my "Client Export" tab showed up as expected.
Perfect! Thanks again.
