I believe more recent builds are missing a number of kernel modules / drivers; I have referenced this post and two other posts I believe to be related in my post:-
Topic: Missing cdce kernel module
https://forum.pfsense.org/index.php?topic=74664.0It seems you might be missing the axe kernel module
What snapshot version / date of 2.2 did you update to? That might help others sort things out.

Hi
Are this USB's NICs OK for pfsense?
Thanks

Only testing will tell in general.
First though you have to check if they are supported on FreeBSD 10. -

Hi,
In our case, our USB to ethernet NICs used to work with pfSense 2.1.x. But currently, on 2.2 alpha, a message says that these are not ALTQ compatible (and hence traffic shaper can't be used) even though we're only using interfaces based on VLAN on top of LAGG (which, as I understand, virtualizes and abstracts the underlying hardware).
Please address this by including the required drivers as they were in 2.1.x and 2.0.x.
Thanks,

You have to do more than that and tell us which drivers!!!
