      Good Day All,

I have been playing with this program for a bit, and just love it, big props to the developers.

I am looking at setting if PFSense as a firewall to separate my many VLAN's. I have a Compaq Proliant DL360 with NC7780 1GB Network Cards. Vlan config works on these in windows, but when setting up PHSense it doesnt seem to recognize as VLAN aware.

      Could I be missing something?

      • Using latest snapshot

      • Searched Forums, FAQ and Wiki

      • Searched hardware compat..doesnt talk about VLAN compat

      • Checked BSD sites, not much also

Thanks anyone for their help in this!

          Thanks very much for replying.

It comes up as bge0 and bge1. Is that what you are looking for?

          Thanks!

Just checking if you were able to solve this mystery.

                Try editing /etc/inc/globals.inc

                Change:

"vlan_native_supp" => array("bfe", "dc", "fxp", "gem", "hme", "rl", "sis", "ste", "tl", "tx", "xl"),

                To:

"vlan_native_supp" => array("bfe", "bge", "dc", "fxp", "gem", "hme", "rl", "sis", "ste", "tl", "tx", "xl"),
