Trying to get a Verizon USB MHS291LVW "Jetpack" set up as the WAN interface, but having some trouble. When plugging it in it shows up in the logs as a PANTECH USB SCSI device. Can Pfsense use Verizon Jetpacks as gateways?

I'm using a 4620L via USB at one location and it works great.  Can't speak to others.

        I can break anything.

Never seen one work.  An been told a few times by Verizon that it doesn't.  I usually use a Cradlepoint CBR400 with the correct card for the job, and then link it to a Soekis box as the WAN port.  Today you may need the IBR600 as the CBR400 reached EOL.

If USB doesn't work, this will:

            http://www.amazon.com/Netgear-Universal-Wireless-Internet-WNCE3001/dp/B00E9CEBZU/

I have it connected to my WAN port, and have never had an issue.

No mention of those even in head:

You may be able to do something with usb_modeswitch.

For anyone who hasn't read this is looks like the OP 'solved' this problem using 3x Win XP VMs!

I salute your janky setup.  :D
