Use real nics.  Intel nics are recommended.

I used intel nics and they hung up pfsense, never worked and everyone told me NOT TO USE INTEL NICs with PFSENSE.
This is my 4th set of hardware with pfsense and it's killing me.
This is a Jetway appliance box and I can't buy a 5th set of hardware.  I researched this box and everything pointed to it should work flawlessly.
If its a driver issue then maybe I can upgrade the driver if it's possible on pfsense.

          thanks

Where did you ask? For sure not on this forum…

That pretty much sounds like you're doing something in an unsupported manner. Friendly speaking.  ;D
I installed pfSense on a number of machines with different hardware, embedded and full, and never had any serious issues.

Don't know off hand if your Jetway appliance supports PCI cards (I somewhat doubt that).
If so then go and grab some 3com 905B NICs. They are known to work well and cheap when bought used.

I've used Jetway J7F* with the 3 port add on card under 1.2 beta 1 I did not see any trouble cept for one port seemed to have a good deal of rx errors. Was just a bad cable in the end. But I can tell you for sure that the jetways and the jetway add on nics do work.

try and move off of the vr0 port. Do you get the error just with one nic?

First of all i want to apologize for my previous message, it was out of frustration and it got to me when the reply was get a real NIC card.
I really want to make pfsense work not because it's free, but because I want to prove that opensource can work in a production environment.

I should have changed out the cables, I didn't think of that, I'll do so this weekend and see if the errors go away.
Does anyone know if pfsense will be upgraded to the latest version for freebsd anytime soon?

                Regards,
